OC Headshots

Here are headshots of my oc’s! I’m super happy with how this turned out even though I wish I had some more talent with hair and shading in general. I’m probably going to change up some character’s hair, like fix Cade’s bangs and make his hair longer and change up Haden’s hair because it looks off to me. I’m also going to change up some of their clothing once I’m able to do full body sketches of them too.

Name: Damian Bennett

Age: 17

Birthday: June 11

Height: 5’6

Species: Human

Distinguishing marks: A long, jagged set of claw marks running from the front of his right shoulder down to the middle of his back from when he was attacked by an ursaring.

Bad/Nervous Habits: Damian will pick at anything, whether it be a piece of skin on his lips, a scab, band aid, loose thread, anything that can be picked at.

Notes: He’s one of my Pokémon oc’s. He lives on route 9 just outside of Cerulean City with his identical twin Drake, their mother, and grandma. They own an all-natural potion shop for Pokémon and people that they run out of the first floor of their home. Damian’s team consists of houndoom, lapris, furret, flygon, and rapidash. He has no desire to battle with his Pokémon but he travels around with Taylen, who he has been friends with since they were children because their mothers are close childhood friends. Damian only says what is needed and in as few words as possible. He is also quiet in that he can be in the same room as someone without them noticing until they turn around and he’s right there. He has the most expressionless neutral expression and it only changes very subtly with any emotion so it’s almost impossible to tell what he is thinking or feeling most of the time. He isn’t lazy, but he can fall asleep anywhere and quickly. Damian is skilled in making potions and can name almost every plant he sees, he also has a high pain tolerance to the point that it’s dangerous because he just tries to brush or walk it off even if it’s serious. He has always wanted to travel so he jumps at the chance when Taylen invites him along. Damian also likes to takes advantage of the fact that Taylen scares easily.

Bad/Nervous Habits: he will fiddle around with any jewelry he is wearing, especially necklaces.

Notes: He’s my other Pokémon oc. He lives in Cerulean City with his mother who is a famous singer and his father who is a famous actor, Taylen himself is a fairly famous model, but he can’t sing to save his life. He had an older brother who was in the military, but he died in battle when Taylen was ten. His and Damian’s mothers are close childhood friends so the two have been friends since before they can remember, Taylen is also one of the very few who can tell the twins apart. Taylen’s team consists of ninetails, arcanine, sylveon, umbreon, pikachu, and nidoking. He’s taking a break from his modeling career to travel with Damian and collect gym badges, which is something he has always wanted to do. Taylen is outgoing and even though he is famous, he is super nice, caring, and down to earth. He gets scared easily and he is competitive, but not over the top. He is energetic, spontaneous, and sometimes he is easily distracted.

Distinguishing marks: freckles, scars running up his arms from when he use to cut himself, and a tattoo of two small paw prints on his left wrist.

Bad/Nervous Habits: He will run his thumb over the scars on his wrists

Notes: Haden originally lived in Kansas with his parents and younger brother, Eric. His parents are overly conservative Christians, his father is a pastor at their church and his mother is a stay at home stereotypical white suburban mom. Both Haden and Eric are worlds different from their parents in that Haden is gay and Eric is fascinated with the supernatural, they both keep their secrets from their parents and Eric is the only family member Haden is close too. He moved in with Kuro after the events that occurred when Eric accidently summoned him while their parents weren’t home. Kuro gave Haden a collar that lets him turn into a cat. Haden rescued a dog he found badly injured, she had to get her back leg amputated and Haden adopted her and named her Echo. Haden is quiet, and likes to sit alone with a book or go jogging, though he isn’t particularly shy. He likes marvel, especially captain America. He can be somewhat anxious and insecure of himself at times, he also has bipolar depression and tried to kill himself when he was younger. Haden just wants to have fun and live his life where he doesn’t have to hide everything. He also isn’t the neatest of people and his room is an organized mess of clothing thrown everywhere except the closet.

 

Name: Kuro

Age: 21

Birthday: Oct 31

Height: 5’11        

Species: Demon

Distinguishing marks: Claw marks all over his chest and back from hellhounds

Bad/Nervous Habits: N/A unless I can think of something for him

Notes: Kuro is originally an orphan from 17^th century Russia where he worked as a chimney sweep until he got too big and was thrown out on the street. After a while he sold his soul for a life of luxury. When he died he was dragged to hell by hellhounds and eventually became a demon. He now lives in a penthouse apartment a few blocks from the beach in Miami (a very au Miami since I’ve never been). Kuro also has a Black 1966 Mustang Fastback with red leather interior and a red Kawasaki ninja motorbike. He is pretty nice for a demon and only goes after people who deserve it along with anyone looking to sell their soul. He let Haden move in with him and he slowly became one of the only things he cares about and he will defend and fight for Haden at all costs. Kuro is pretty standoffish and indifferent towards everyone and everything. However, If he sees something he wants, he will do everything he can do get it, he is also cunning and knows how to get what he wants. Kuro isn’t one to pass up the chance to use violence and he regularly gets into fights with other demons.

 

Name: Luna Night

Age: 18

Birthday: May 10

Height: 5’7

Species: Witch

Distinguishing marks: Luna has a small scar on her left leg where she fell on a brick and one on the back of her ankle from refusing to get off when her boots were rubbing while she was riding. She also has a tribal tattoo of a bull on the back of her right shoulder.

Bad/Nervous Habits: she will space out sometimes, even if she is working on something important.

Notes: Luna is one of my characters who lives in this medieval fantasy universe I have created named Auria, though I have not have not fully developed it yet. She lived in Rowen with her father and mother, who is also a witch, on their farm where they raised highly prized horses until her parents decided she is an incredibly talented witch for her age, so they sent her to learn from an old witch because they thought she could learn more. So Luna lived with her for a few years and the older witch, who was a very nice old woman, taught Luna everything she knew before sending her off to start her own life because she knew Luna always wanted to live far from civilization on her own farm. Luna built her own farm in the middle of nowhere at least a half hour ride from the nearest town, with a large barn, a massive pasture, and large enough crop fields to grow nearly everything she needs to feed herself and her animals. Ryan eventually ends up living with Luna and together they make highly sought after enchanted armor. Luna’s familiar is a red fox whose name I still have to think of. She also has a large, pretty raven named Kitty who imprinted on her as she raised him from an abandoned egg. She also has many animals on her farm, but her absolute favorite is her horse Pirate. She is curious, has a great sense of humor, is organized, though not always neat, and very artistic. Luna is adventurous and loves nature, she would much rather be outside exploring the forest then stuck inside, if she is stuck indoors, she has to be doing something. She loves animals, much more than people and could never bring herself to harm or kill one, she is also extremely skilled with them. She could care less about fitting into society’s standards and will only respect people if they deserve it, not because of their title, and will only help people who are good people.

Notes: Ryan also lives in Auria. She was kicked out of elven society when she was young because she didn’t fit in, and now she hates them and refuses to go near their city. She was raised by a blacksmith who taught her the trade in which she became very skilled in. Ryan also developed a very thick Scottish accent while she was with him. He sent her off on her own after he taught her all he could and she ended up living with Luna. Ryan also has a gypsy vanner mare named Kitsune.  She is defiant, hardworking, and head strong. She loves meat, has an inappropriate and vulgar sense of humor, and is completely unsophisticated, which are all reasons she was kicked out.

 

Name: Hunter Aubry

Age: 15

Species: Werewolf

Distinguishing marks: wolf ears and a tail, a bullet wound on the side of his abdomen, and freckles.

Bad/Nervous Habits: he will fidget and play with his tail

Notes: Hunter lived in a cabin in the middle of the woods with his parents, older brother and sister who are twins, younger sister, aunt and cousin. He came home from spending some much needed alone time out in the forest to find them all murdered with the two hunters finishing the job, he ran when they spotted him but was shot in the stomach with a silver bullet laced with wolfsbane, which can kill a werewolf. He managed to run away but passed out just as he was discovered by Luca, who took him home and healed him. Hunter ends up living with Luca and they plan on getting revenge on the two hunters. He was the outcast in his family because he is very small for his age and would never hurt an animal, which is seen as weakness in a family of werewolves that hunt for their food. His older siblings also made fun of him because having ears and a tail is very rare, only Hunter and his younger sister have them in their entire family. So that’s probably a contributing factor to why hunter is embarrassed by them. Hunter is incredibly outdoorsy and active, he is almost always outside or moving around. He absolutely loves Luca, he is like his entire world, and it isn’t unusual for him to cuddle up to Luca and use him as a pillow or even share a bed. Hunter also pretty much only wears flannel, especially plaid, and he likes birds a lot but is scared of thunderstorms.

Bad/Nervous Habits: he tugs on/plays with his piercings

Notes: Luca lives in a Victorian manor, on the edge of the forest, half an hour’s drive from the nearest town and an hour’s drive from the nearest city. His mother was murdered by hunters when he was young, so now he lives with his father and stepmother, whom his father married when Luca was about twelve, and older stepsister and stepbrother. His stepmother and stepsiblings hardly care for Luca and are the epitome of evil stepmother/siblings. Luca hated them, especially his siblings because they killed their butler whom Luca was close to, murdered his pet cat, and basically try to make his life miserable in every way possible. However they travel a lot and are hardly home. Luca prefers to be indoors and is terrified of insects. He also likes reading, watching movies, and playing videogames, and is kind of a total fandom nerd, especially Game of Thrones and Harry Potter. Even though he comes from an extremely rich family, he is an extremely nice, caring person, and will share his wealth when he can. Luca also cares a lot about Hunter, he is basically his entire world, and would do anything to protect him. He also doesn’t like the dark and kind of has a weak stomach despite the fact that he drinks blood.

 

Name: Fynn Weston

Distinguishing marks: none

Bad/Nervous Habits: N/A unless I can think of something for him

Notes: Fynn is one of three princes of Olarien. He has two older brothers and a younger sister. He is a total spoiled brat so his father sent him out on a quest to the far side of the world to try to get him to grow up already, but basically just so they wouldn’t have to put up with him for a while. His father also made Cade go along because Fynn is completely useless on his own and he might actually stay alive if Cade is with him. For lack of a better word, Fynn is kind of a slut, he uses his royal status and overall attractiveness to his advantage will have sex with absolutely anyone he finds attractive, regardless of their gender. Fynn has always had a little bit of a crush on Cade ever since he was a child, so he takes the quest as an opportunity to get in his pants, but is shut down immediately. He is also arrogant, selfish, a bit dramatic, and cries really easily. But he does slowly improve during his journey.

 

Name: Cade Talbot

Distinguishing marks: He has scars everywhere from training and battle

Bad/Nervous Habits: N/A unless I can think of something for him

Notes: Cade is the best knight in Olarien. He grew up in the castle and is childhood friends with Fynn’s oldest brother, who suggested Cade go with Fynn as his babysitter in the first place. Cade also had a younger sister but she died. He is chivalrous, a skilled fighter, and overall, the perfect knight, he also likes bunnies. He really does not want to go with Fynn and doesn’t particularly like him because Fynn is a completely useless brat. Cade also turns down Finn’s advances, because he isn’t interested and because he doesn’t think it is appropriate for a knight to do that with a prince, let alone one he was ordered to accompany and protect by the king. However Cade eventually grows to like him and changes his mind along the way.
